"Tell me and I'll forget...
Show me and I might remember...
Involve me and I'll understand"

        Building a Business Roadmap
Analysis and highlighting priorities
Business Roadmaps are created by multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams drawn from across the organisation. In some situations you may wish to include external stakeholders.

Each participant brings a particular set of knowledge and skills to the roadmap that is shared within the workshop. Through the exchange of knowledge and ideas participants can agree the way forward. Stakeholder alignment across the organisation and "buy-in" are important outcomes.

A facilitator, an expert in process, not necessarily content, may be engaged to bring out the best contribution from each participant.
Roadmapping Activity
Roadmaps are never "complete".  Regular reviews ensure that your Business Roadmap evolves as your business progresses.

Regular Reviews

Business Roadmaps are dynamic and active representations of a preferred future state. How frequently and how regular the review period will vary with each organisation and the rate of change affecting their industry.
